StudyInAus INTERVIEW COACH

PREPARE THOUGHTFULLY. SPEAK HONESTLY.

Terms of use

A tool for practice

The app provides AI interview conversations, recordings, transcripts and preparation feedback. It is independent of universities, embassies and immigration authorities. Practice questions are not official questions or predictions about what an interviewer will ask.

Nothing in the app guarantees admission, a visa, a successful interview or a particular score. It does not provide immigration or legal advice. Check current requirements with the relevant institution or authority and seek qualified advice for decisions that affect your application.

Your account and your answers

Keep your sign-in details private and use an account you are authorized to access. Contact your StudyInAus administrator if you believe someone else has accessed it or if you need account recovery.

Provide truthful study details and answer in your own words. Do not use the app to invent finances, qualifications, personal history or other claims for an application. Suggestions may help you organize an answer; verify every fact before using it.

Do not attempt to access another student’s information, disrupt the service, bypass access controls, or submit unlawful or abusive material. Only record yourself and content you are entitled to provide. Avoid capturing other people or private background information.

Before starting an interview, you are asked to consent to recording and sharing your microphone audio, study profile and transcript with Google Gemini for the conversation and feedback. Recording begins when you choose to start after checking your devices. You can end the session at any time.

The Privacy notice explains access, storage, the default 90-day recording period and temporary browser recovery data. Ending a session does not delete information already saved or sent for processing.

Understand your feedback

AI output and automatic transcriptions can contain mistakes. Reports use the saved transcript and your self-reported profile; they do not independently verify your statements or evaluate the recorded audio and video. Scores related to fluency or delivery describe wording and answer organization, not pronunciation, pace, vocal confidence or body language.

A score of zero may mean the saved conversation contains no evidence for that category. It is not a judgment of your ability. A short or interrupted session may not produce a report. Review important feedback with a qualified counsellor and check the recording if a transcript detail looks wrong.

Counsellor and administrator access

Administrators manage staff access and student links. Linked counsellors can review the student’s profile, recordings, transcripts and feedback, assign practice, and add notes. Staff should use this access only to support the students they are authorized to assist and should request removal of links that are no longer needed.

Students can see counsellor notes on their own sessions. A counsellor’s comments are that person’s guidance; they do not turn an AI practice score into an official assessment.

Availability and saving your work

Live interviews need a compatible browser, working camera and microphone, and an internet connection. Device problems, connectivity interruptions or unavailable AI services can stop an interview or delay a report. The service cannot promise uninterrupted availability or recovery of every recording.

Wait for saving to finish before closing the interview. If saving is interrupted, return to the original browser to recover the pending data within 24 hours of starting. Clearing browser data can remove anything that has not uploaded. Keep any downloaded reports or recordings secure.

You can delete an unused or finished interview from its detail page. Deletion is permanent in the app. Contact the administrator who manages your access for account requests, technical support or questions about these terms.
